The new STAUB range of utensils also includes tongs made from high-quality matte black silicone. The tongs are heat resistant up to 220°C and suitable or used on non-stick surfaces as well as with all Staub cast iron and ceramic cooking vessels. They can be cleaned in a dishwasher. The tongs are 31cm long, leaving a comfortable distance for hot food. They are great for tasks as diverse as turning grilled food, serving pasta and salads. Silicone is softer and more flexible than stainless steel or other material often used for kitchen tongs, so your delicate food stays in perfect shape and won’t stick to the tongs. The tongs have a hole in the handle so they can be stored on a kitchen shelf with hooks.
